How to Request Deletion
Send an email to support@blockcircle.com from the email address of your Blockcircle account and ask us to delete your account and data.
- Use Your Account Email The request has to come from the email address your Blockcircle account is registered under, so that we can confirm it is from the account holder
- No Self-Service Button There is no delete button in the account settings. Deletion is carried out by our team after you ask for it
What We Delete
We close your account and delete your personal data, including the account information and preferences described in § 01 of our Privacy Policy. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers; billing details are processed through Stripe.
What We Keep
As set out in § 06 of our Privacy Policy, the following is not deleted when an account is closed, or is deleted later:
- Legal and Legitimate Business Purposes Data whose retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention)
- Signup Security Data The IP address and user-agent captured at signup for abuse prevention are retained for a maximum of 90 days and then automatically deleted
- Web Server Access Logs Web server access logs, which include IP addresses, are kept for 90 days
- Anonymized Analytics Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely
Time Frame
Once we receive your request from your account's email address, we close your account and delete your personal data within 30 days, except for the data listed in § 03.
Disconnecting a Sign-In Provider
If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, X, or LinkedIn and only want to disconnect that provider from your Blockcircle account, send the request to support@blockcircle.com from your account's email address and tell us which provider to disconnect. Disconnecting a provider does not delete your account or its data.
