Benchmarks
All assets are compared against a customisable benchmark basket. The default basket is Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), gold (XAU/USD) and the S&P 500 (SPY); users can build their own basket from any benchmark or universe asset and choose which windows count.

Scoring & Phases
Each asset receives a composite score (0-100) from its outperformance versus the benchmark basket: short term (1D and 7D), medium term (30D), long term (1Y) and consistency. Assets are classified into market phases: Phase A (early recovery), Phase B (confirmed uptrend), Phase C (strong outperformer), Accumulation (sideways), or Distribution (losing momentum).

What is the Asset Outperformer Engine?
The AOE identifies assets that consistently outperform a benchmark basket you can customise (the default basket is BTC, ETH, SOL, gold and the S&P 500) across multiple timeframes. It scans 3,000+ crypto tokens, 400+ stocks, ETFs, precious metals, commodities, and mutual funds to find the strongest relative performers.
How does the scoring system work?
Each asset receives a composite score (0-100) from its outperformance versus the benchmark basket: short term (1D and 7D, up to 3 points of 10), medium term (30D, up to 3 points), long term (1Y, up to 2 points) and consistency (the share of benchmark-window checks it wins, up to 2 points). Assets are classified into market phases: Phase A (early recovery), Phase B (confirmed uptrend), Phase C (strong outperformer), Accumulation, or Distribution.
What benchmarks does the AOE compare against?
Every asset is compared against a benchmark basket. The default basket is Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), gold (XAU/USD) and the S&P 500 (SPY) with equal weights; signed-in users can build their own basket from any benchmark or universe asset, choose which windows count and save it as their default. The #OUT column shows how many benchmark-timeframe combinations (basket members x 1D, 7D and 30D) each asset outperforms.
How often is the data updated?
Crypto is priced from live market data and refreshed with every scan, at least once a day. Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, FX pairs, commodities and precious metals are measured on each market's daily closing prices, collected once a day after the US close (around 22:30 UTC), and the board is rebuilt as soon as they arrive. Every row shows the date of the close it uses; a row whose close is older than its market's latest session is marked, and a benchmark that is behind is left out of the comparisons until it catches up.
Can I filter meme coins and stablecoins?
Yes. The AOE includes an ML-powered asset classifier that identifies meme coins and stablecoins. By default, both are excluded from results. You can toggle them on/off in the advanced filters panel.
Every morning, the Asset Outperformer Engine ranks 500+ assets across crypto, stocks, ETFs, FX, commodities and bond proxies by relative strength versus a benchmark basket you can customise (default: BTC, ETH, SOL, gold and the S&P 500). Top decile becomes the long book; bottom decile becomes the short book. Subscribe a basket; deploy via paper or live.
