Four days later, [SpaceX announced it would agree to buy AI coding start-up Cursor for \$60B](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgd5g7d7gyo), with the deal aimed to be completed by the end of September. SpaceX [entered](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026043411/spaceexplorationtechnologi.htm) into the definitive merger agreement to acquire Cursor on June 16, 2026.
