Where to start

  • Whales: the highest-scoring trades in the window. Start here.
  • Leaders: which tickers draw the most money, and which way it leans.
  • Symbol: one ticker: its day, its expiries and strikes, and its largest trades.
  • Live Tape: every trade with filters, when you know what you are looking for.
  • Structures and Crypto: trades with several legs, and the Bitcoin and Ether option exchanges.

How to read a trade

  • Bought calls or sold puts lean bullish. Bought puts or sold calls lean bearish.
  • US trades come from quotes about 15 minutes behind, and the side is read from the price against the quote, so it can be wrong. Crypto exchanges report the side themselves.
  • A big trade is sometimes a hedge or a roll. The same contract traded again and again tells you more than one large trade.
  • This is information, not advice. Options can lose all of their value.
