Overview
Whale Finder is a real-time tracking tool for monitoring profitable wallets across prediction markets and token trading platforms. It aggregates performance data from multiple sources, letting you identify and follow the most successful traders in the crypto ecosystem.
Supported sources include Polymarket, Opinion Trade, EVM Tokens, and Solana Tokens. Each source is tracked independently with full performance metrics, giving you a comprehensive view of where the smart money is moving.
Table View
Stats Dashboard
At the top of the page, four summary cards provide a quick snapshot of the current dataset:
- Total Whales – The total number of tracked wallets across all sources.
- Average Win Rate – The mean win rate across all visible whales.
- Total PnL – The combined profit and loss of all tracked wallets.
- Active Whales – The number of wallets with open positions right now.
Source Filters
Use the filter pills below the stats dashboard to narrow the table by data source:
- All – Show whales from every source.
- Polymarket – Wallets tracked on Polymarket prediction markets.
- Opinion – Wallets tracked on Opinion Trade.
- EVM – Wallets trading ERC-20 and other EVM-compatible tokens.

- Manual – Manually curated whale entries.
Period Selector
Choose the time window for performance calculations. Available periods: 24h, 3d, 7d, 30d, 90d, and All Time. Switching periods recalculates all metrics (PnL, win rate, volume, trades) for the selected window.

Classification System
Each whale is assigned a classification based on their trading patterns and performance. Understanding these categories helps you quickly identify the type of trader you are looking at:
- Elite Whale – Top-tier performers with exceptional PnL and consistency. These wallets represent the best of the best.
- Top Performer – Strong overall results with high win rates and significant profit.
- Consistent – Steady, reliable traders with solid win rates over extended periods.
- Profitable – Wallets that are net positive but may have more variance in their results.
- Active Trader – High trade frequency. These wallets are very active but profitability varies.
- Mega Holder – Wallets with very large holdings, typically less frequent but high-value trades.
- Token Whale – Large token holders with significant market influence.
- Token Holder – Mid-size token positions with moderate activity.
- Small Holder – Smaller positions, often newer or less capitalized wallets.
- New Trader – Recently active wallets with limited trading history.
- High Risk – Wallets exhibiting volatile, high-risk trading behavior.
- Unprofitable – Wallets that are currently net negative. Useful as a contrarian signal.
- Insider – Wallets flagged for potential insider or early-access trading patterns.
Risk Levels
Every whale receives a risk assessment based on their trading behavior:
- Low – Conservative trading patterns, consistent results, lower drawdowns.
- Medium – Balanced approach with moderate variance in performance.
- High – Aggressive trading style, large swings in PnL, higher potential for both gains and losses.
Whale Detail Page
Click any whale in the table to open their full profile. The detail page provides a deep dive into that wallet's trading activity.
Profile Section
The header displays the whale's name or address, classification badge, risk level, source platform, and chain. This gives you immediate context about who you are looking at.
Performance Statistics
A statistics panel shows key metrics at a glance:
- Total PnL – Lifetime profit and loss.
- Win Rate – Overall percentage of profitable trades.
- Total Trades – Complete trade count.
- Volume – Total USD volume traded.
- Average Trade Size – Mean position size across all trades.
- Best Win – Largest single profit.
- Worst Loss – Largest single loss.
Active Positions Tab
This tab shows all currently open trades for the whale. Each position displays the market or token, entry price, current price, position size, and unrealized PnL. Use this to see what the whale is currently betting on and how those positions are performing in real time.
Trade History Tab
A complete log of closed positions with full details: entry price, exit price, realized PnL, trade duration, and outcome. This history lets you evaluate the whale's strategy and consistency over time.
Markets Traded Tab
A breakdown of all markets and tokens the whale has participated in, with performance metrics per market. This reveals whether the whale specializes in certain sectors or trades broadly across many markets.
How to Use Whale Finder Effectively
- Start with the default view. The table loads with all whales sorted by rank. Scan the stats dashboard to get a sense of overall market activity and top performer metrics.
- Filter by source. If you are focused on prediction markets, select Polymarket or Opinion. If you are tracking token trading, select EVM or Solana. This removes noise from platforms you are not interested in.
- Sort by Win Rate to find consistency. High PnL can come from a few lucky trades. Sorting by win rate surfaces wallets that are profitable across many trades, which is a stronger signal of skill.
- Use advanced filters to narrow results. Set a minimum PnL and win rate to focus on proven performers. Filter by Low risk if you want to follow conservative strategies, or High risk if you are looking for aggressive plays.
- Click into a whale's profile. Before following any wallet, review their full trading history. Check whether their PnL comes from consistent small wins or a few large bets. Look at their worst loss to understand downside risk.
- Monitor active positions for trade ideas. The Active Positions tab shows what the whale is currently trading. This can serve as a starting point for your own research. Do not blindly copy trades; use them as signals to investigate further.
- Adjust the time period. A whale that looks great over 7 days may have poor 90-day performance. Always check longer periods to confirm that strong results are not just a short-term streak.
- Watch for classification context. An "Elite Whale" with a Low risk rating trading Polymarket is a very different signal than a "High Risk" "New Trader" on Solana tokens. Use classifications and risk levels together to calibrate your confidence.
Tips
- Whales with high win rates and high trade counts are generally more reliable signals than those with high PnL from only a few trades.
- The "Unprofitable" classification can be useful as a contrarian indicator. If many unprofitable wallets are taking the same position, consider whether the opposite trade has merit.
- Check the "Last Seen" column to ensure a whale is still actively trading. A wallet that was last active 30 days ago may no longer be relevant.
- Use the period selector to compare short-term and long-term performance. Consistent results across multiple time windows indicate a more reliable trading strategy.
- The Insider classification does not confirm insider trading. It flags patterns that resemble early-access behavior, which warrants further investigation before drawing conclusions.
