Prediction market on manifold. This market resolves to the country of birth of the pope who immediately succeeds Pope Leo XIV. Dual citizens will be resolved based on birthplace, not nationality or later affiliation. Resolution will be based on public reports and official Vatican sources. Only the immediate next pope counts, regardless of how long Leo XIV’s pontificate lasts. In the event of an antipope or schism, only the pope recognized by the majority of the College of Cardinals and the Roman Curia will be considered valid for resolution.
