Within 1 year, will I think Claude Skills are a bigger deal than MCP?

Prediction market on manifold. Inspired by Simon Willison's title, "Claude Skills are awesome, maybe a bigger deal than MCP" I don't currently have a ton of experience with MCP, and none with Claude Skills. I currently don't see MCP as a very big deal anyways; eg MCP is in the ballpark, but smaller than Deep Research. Maybe MCP is a bigger deal than Claude Artifacts? I'll resolve this YES if I'm convinced that Skills has meaningfully surpassed MCP, NO if this is definitively not the case, and 50% if it's close.
