I will resolve subjectively based on how I would honestly answer the question “What pronouns do you prefer people refer to you with?” I will not bet. Here is some context: I’m biologically male. I’ve never really had a strong internal sense of gender, or endorsed the fact that society is so obsessed with it. I’ve always used he/him, mostly because it’s convenient and less grammatically ambiguous than they/them. If there was a nonbinary pronoun with widespread societal acceptance, I think I would want to use it (perhaps in addition to he/him). I’ve historically dressed in a low-effort masc way, but I really resonate with certain aspects of the femme aesthetic — in particular dresses and Safiya Nygaard x Holo Taco nail polish — especially lately. I am looking into a personal aesthetic overhaul in the coming months, which would probably include an androgynous mix of clothing. In the last year (~my freshman year of college), I’ve gone from 98% straight to 90% straight. I feel like the people want to see me date men. I have always been in very queer-friendly communities.
