Background The Swedish Riksdag today consists of members from 8 different parties: The Left Party The Social Democrats The Green Party The Centre Party The Liberals The Moderate Party The Christian Democrats The Sweden Democrats But the last 30 years has seen multiple parties entering the Riksdag for the first time, and there are many parties trying to enter the Riksdag. Who will succeed next? Resolution This resolves to the party which first receives a seat in the Riksdag. Excluding the 8 currently in the Riksdag. If multiple parties were first to receive seats, then it resolves to the party which received the most seats in that election. If multiple parties received the most seats, then it resolves to the party that received the most votes in that election. If a new party enters the Riksdag but is not listed, then it resolves to "Other". I will only count a party "receiving seats" if it's actually for a person who was voted in on a ballot for that party (no party switching shenanigans). Close date will be at the next election but if no new party gets any seat I will extend the close date. If you want to add some party to the list, just write a comment.
